indicator battery

Post by salvatore »

Hi, I'm looking for a battery charge indicator to check the charge status while I walk, I look for a small tool to hide between the handlebars, you use a similar item, where to buy.

I don't have or need one on my SuzukI GT but I have one of these on my Honda which is known for charging problems. It works well and is easy to install

Thanks Barney you are always kind, now I buy it I like to have control even on the way, the description says that its absorption with the motorcycle off is minimal, you can confirm this, I wouldn't like it if he downloads the battery in stand-bay

Hi. First thing to check and I know it sounds stupid. Is the kill switch in the on position? If it is just flick it on and off a few time's to make sure.
2. Have you connected the capacitors the correct side of the insulated plastic washer on the contacts.
3. Turn the ignition on and just open the contact does it spark?

everything ok works, I had given more openings to the contacts the capacitor charge did not occur. now I checked with a stroboscopic gun this was anticipated with the left contacts, when I check the middle and right are out of the mark, is it normal? do you only control the accident? or should the contact base be moved? Please explain to me. however the bike goes well keeping the minimum at 1100 rpm.

Nice bike!! One set of points is directly attached to the timing base plate, I forget which as I switched to electronic ages ago, this must be adjusted first and the base plate then locked off, then adjust the two remaining sets which are mounted on their own mounting plates. If you don't do it this way around you will never get two sets gaps correct.
