Starter motors compatibility ?
I assume the 380 and 550 use the same starters ? What about the 750 ? Are any of these compatible ?

Re: Starter motors compatibility ?
380 doesn't have a starter motor.
550 and 750 have same motors but different ends.
On top of that there are Dens or Koukasan.

Re: Starter motors compatibility ?
You’re referring to them having different armature splines ? So, they aren’t compatible ?

No its the shape of the end pieces that are different. I bought a 750 one but couldn't get it into place. I changed the end piece and it fitted a treat.

Re: Starter motors compatibility ?
Oh, ok. So you simply change the end mounting cap pieces from one to the other. Then, they are compatible ? Thank you
