GT380
I'm rebuilding a Canadian model GT380 and I'd like to mount the rear signals the same as the EU ones, but have not been able to find a good photo of exactly how they are attached. The Canadian and American ones both use the same drop down brackets as is used on the American GT750's. Anyone able to assist ?

Re: GT380
Thanks for taking the time John. Appreciated. That appears to be an import ? I ask only as I see it has the drop brackets, and so looks the same as the North American models. I know it doesn't matter a hill of beans in the general scheme of things, but these are very thin on the ground over here and I've only actually seen one other one in the flesh so to speak. It was rather nicely done up as a cafe bike, and heavily modified.

Re: GT380
I can post a few photos of the brackets later today, but the bracket is part number 41640-33001, and the left one is 41650-33001. Complicating this for those of us that are curious about these things, is that there are two different rear bumper rails, plus a carrier rear rail. The one that passes over the lug on the frame for the original turn indicator mount and runs sort of straight to the shock mount is 94710-33000 which was changed to having a bracing tab and passing under the frame lug for the signal mount and is part 94710-33600. The carrier rack was 46310-33000.2strokejohnny wrote:be interesred to see the bracket properly is there a part number for it ? John
North American models only had a rear grab rail for the 1974 model (I think - still checking). Elsewhere they all seem to have had them, but appear to have been a mix of the two styles, plus the optional carrier one.
