And shining over here in Lincolnshire too, Gods favourite holiday destination and for a bit of culture and a nice piece of haddockPaulD738 wrote:Alan H wrote:Oh dear, never mind. You keep up with the good work if keeping the crappy weather over the left side of the pennines.
?????????? Lovely sunshine over here on gods side of the Pennines
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Being from West Yorkshire, you wouldn't recognise culture if it bit you on the arse

Doubtless that would be closer to the truth than where you usually stand if I actually came from that part of God's County.

Cheers, I'm quite pleased with it. Thinking about trying to TIG my points cover back together but it's fairly obliterated, it's scrap anyway so no harm in trying.yeadon_m wrote:Blimey, that’s a neat repair! Those arms are so expensive & easy to snap that if you could stand it, a little repair business on the side might be viable
Good to learn you’ve a “wonkey” bike, pretty rare at this vintage. I’m sure you’ll get hold of a second key. What number is it? If I have a spare, I’ll send it to you. I’ve about 50 different old keys in my box from previously key recoding jobs.
Cheers!
Mike
Are these really hard to get hold of / pricey then? I could probably find some time to stick a few sets back together as a side hustle
I'll get the details off the key and get back to you

As much as I enjoy taking the mick out of thick Yorkies, I will be the sensible one and heed your request. In fact all my posts from now will be positive and sensible.TGladders wrote:Oi will you lot go and bicker in another thread
