GT550 Cylinder Compatibility

Postby Apexxn » Fri Mar 27, 2020 5:13 am

I need to swap out a left cylinder on a U.S. spec 1976 GT550.

'74 -'77 steel bore will work correct?

Yes. Make sure it's the same rebore size.
And the correct shape barrels. There are different ones - look at the ones on this engine of mine......
You need tgem off a similar year, or at least with the same type of carbs.
