Testing the gear display

Post by TGladders »

Does anyone know how to test the gear indicator display on the clocks with it removed from the bike? Or has a wiring diagram for the clocks and indicator?

I'm hoping it's just going to be as simple as powering the display and individually applying power to the different sections on the gear selector switch maybe

I've had a look through the old topics on here but none match what I'm looking for

Cheers, Tom :D

If you put 12+v to the orange wire, then put -ve (earth) to other wires should get the digits to light up
5 is brown and red wire
4 is yellow and blue
3 is green and blue
2 is red and black
1 white and yellow
