Ok stupid question BUT given that Suzuki increased the bore from 54 mm to 55 mm and the CC From 371 to 384 did they also re-stamp/ re-cast the barrel with the new size , or did they just leave it alone as re tooling for such a small change would be expensive?
The reason I ask is my" Italian " import has 371 cast in the right hand barrel .
So either its as it should be ,
Or sometime in its lifetime someone has killed it and fitted a different set of barrels
I only noticed it yesterday as I sat beer in hand listening to Glastonbury on radio 2 having spent the afternoon fiddling around with points and timing ELECTRICS ARE THE DEVILS WORK

Electrics are a doddle, honest! However the other 'thing' will only be sorted if you take the cylinder head off and measure the bores.
Failing that, just enjoy it whatever the engine size!
I just had a trawl and notice that the increase in capacity was from 1975 and the vin plate was marked 171kg.
What does yours say (and what year is it?)

https://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/ but little for the 380.
http://www.ozebook.com/compendium/suzi/ ... engnos.htm - engine/frame number dates
http://suzukicycles.org/GT-series/index.html - Suzuk model details, but no mention of the Italian model. Handy for colours and other details though.
