I guess I used to be a young lunatic, but have now got my license to be a mature oddball. Though not quite as oddballed as Mr C!

A lot more than 2. Haha!!!
The older I get, the better I was................
Even with a 19" back wheel and no centre stand I flattened the pipes. I reckon Paul Smart got his 'off seat' cornering technique off me.

Re: still hankering after one!!
looking at the price's of the GT/T500's ....
I'm also considering a 250 or maybe a 380 .
these appear to be cheaper alternatives.
ok down in power I know.
according to the Suzuki page it say that the the 250 has 33 bhp!!
honestly I can't see that to be true.
http://www.suzukicycles.org/T-series/T250.shtml
considering that the 500 had 45 bhp and the GT380 is 38bhp.
I would of thought it will be around the 25 bhp mark.
got a grand saved up for now. this was managed by selling my racks/rails(surplus after house hold bills etc was paid). so hopefully by xmas I'll have 1.5 or 2 grand saved .

Re: still hankering after one!!
I suppose your right.
hopefully I'll have enough to get what I want by next year.
my current bike (ER6F 09 face lift model)was a real pain in the ass to ride even after I had the seat redone. after a long ride out(to me anyway) we did about 212 miles with stops and walk about and by the time we came home I could have cried with the pain.
it was awful, it took me well over a month before I got back on it and that was only because my wife persuaded me to but only short journeys.went out in the car instead.
I even tried airhawk seat no joy there either ,what ever pressure I tried.
some told me to give tony archer a ring(http://www.tonyarcher.co.uk/)
had a new seat done and what a difference it made!! the last couple of rides out doing 180 miles on one run the next 194 miles with very little numbness.. as soon as I feel it coming usualy around 50 miles I just shift my bum abit and its gone..and all this in the last 3 weeks. last sunday we just went for an hour ride and ended up doing 3!
so I may keep the bike after all.
we'll see what next year bring.
