Re: exhaust mounting
Julian,
The long bolt goes through from the outside of course, but you must place a washer on it such that the head is held off the rubber bush. That way it floats on the bush. On the inside, I also place a slim washer between the inside of the bush and the outside of the triangular plate. The inner pipe bracket is hard-mounted to the triangular plate, with a washer then the nut on the inside. You know you have it right when the whole two pipe assembly will just wiggle a mm or two nice and softy when its all nipped up tight. They key is to make sure the pipes are no hard mounted to the frame as this will make it feel coarse or worse.
Cheers,.
Mike
