I've been reading all these books on 'how to be polite and stuff' and it's obvious now, that they don't work.
I've tried it once and I can't be bothered to try again, so now it's back to the real me.
I'm happy that Ian thought my forum account may have been hacked by my polite twin, but really disappointed that anyone would think that I'm not anything other than really nice.
And Polly Wolly f'kin Doodle can go and climb up a tree.
I shall now go to the whisky cupboard and have a sulk with a glass of something expensive, like a 21YO Inchgower.
On a more serious note, did everyone know that 6 out of 7 dwarves aren't Happy?

Re: The Yeti
The Yeti is now in bits except for getting the silencer rubber support bushes out. I'll make a push/pull thingy in the lathe tomorrow so the frame can go to the powder coaters later. Are these frame rubbers available nowadays?
While stripping the frame, the bit that I had assumed was a solid state reg/rectifier actually turned out to be a signal amplifier for Lucas RITA ignition and is complete with relevant lucas coils. I think that little lot will find it's way onto ebay soon and the bike will be returned to standard in that department. I don't have the ignition pickups anyway, so it's literally a non starter (boom boom!!)
The swing arm and side stand are chromed, and I might keep them that way, but the centre stand isn't so maybe all will go back to black. Whistle see.
Details for the ignition for anyone interested - http://www.eurospares.com/geninfo.htm - apparently the Triumph trident people like it.

Re: The Yeti
As far as I know Alan (yes I know it's not that far ) the frame bushes are just standard silentblock bushes. Measure em up and get down to your local engineering supply emporium or alternatively look on tinternet
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Re: The Yeti
Pretty ain't they?
Baz did a good job with new rims & spokes and polishing the big bits.
All the 'stuff' now at the powder coaters - plus several extra stands, yokes etc.
Might as well let them do lots of dark black stuff for ebay as well!
