For info, I previously used btyres, but after several unanswered calls and emails, it looks like they have gone bust. So this time I used;
TyreTec
T: 0800 3 579757
E: info@tyretectrading.co.uk
http://www.tyretectrading.co.uk/

Prices OK and fast delivery.

I always use Oponeo, they seem to be consistently cheaper and are quick at delivering. Kev

Just noticed today that the frame I had powder coated hasn't got a steering lock slot under the steering head. Bugger.
So ground one off a spare frame and got the Yeti frame ready to weld the slot bit on.
I hope hammerite smooth blends in when it's stuck in place at the welder's later. :oops:

Alan,
Thats annoying. Do you mean the 'fingers' welded to the base of the steering head were missing, or have I misunderstood? one of my 380's 'fingers' is missing and the bike has not been lockable since about 1983, when some scrote tried to nick it in Pompey! luckily, I'd fitted a kill switch under the tank, so they only broke the steering lock, smashed the ignition and - failing to start it - nicked the RH side panel. I can laugh now at my small victory but I didn't then.
Cheers,
Mike

That's the ones Mike. 'New' one welded on and the only colour hammerite I haven't got is ....... black! So rattle can will have to do 'til I get some. Now looks like this;

Alan,
Good enough to eat off, as usual. For now, anyway!
