Hello All

Here you can post a picture of you and your bike. Also where you are located and if you are prepared to give local kettle owners some of your time and experience. Please don't do discussions here just some facts about yourself. This was Glens idea! Thanks BAZ

It’s running points as I think they all did, think you’re getting confused between electronic ignition and electric start..

We're not confused, though it doesn't take much.
They all had electric ignition, or do you mean electronic - as in PEI type?
Waste of money electronic ignition, points work perfectly well. If one set fails, you can still get home.
Electronic - if anything fails, the lot's dead.

There's two camps on the elecrtronic ignition - look what you've started now :D

I'm still on points but am going to fit an Accent electronic unit when I get round to it. They're probably the best for Kettles and seem very reliable.

I put Accent on my bike straight replacement for points apart from 1 wire to power it, takes 30 mins to fit and time has 3 independent sparks, no booster box , no wasted spark causing high rev misfire and plug fouling, Ive had it for 2 years without a missed beat, he is also developing one for the Kawa triples so I am going to get one of these as well.
