Hi,from redcar

Here you can post a picture of you and your bike. Also where you are located and if you are prepared to give local kettle owners some of your time and experience. Please don't do discussions here just some facts about yourself. This was Glens idea! Thanks BAZ

Hi,from redcar

Post by rikrik »

Hello,im Rik and live in the warm sunny north east town of Redcar.I joined your Kettle clinic in about june 2017 but havnt sat down and introduced my until now .I bought a one owner from new 750a project in june ,and after reading through all the receipts etc that come with the bike realised the motor had a rebuild in 1991 and had covered less than 200 miles since. The bike has been sat in back of a garage for nearly 26 years ,after cleaning carbs ,tank, new tyres fluids etc ive got the gt through an mot and have enjoyed using the bike until the weather become too cold.Im having a look into posting some photos you might find of interest...im rubbish with computers though ...it may take some time ..

I'm sorry but that earth cable looks non standard and neither does the spider webs, so you will be reported to the Anoraks department for further action.
This may entail having the 'P' taken at unexpected times.
Please note that the addition of a non standard earth cable make your bike into a street fighter (whatever that might be).

Nice spannies though, I've got some on the B. Genuine Gibsons eh?

Hi Rik
just down the road from you in Whitby - maybe see you and your Kettle at the bike nights at the Whistlestop Cafe in the summer?
Garry.

Inside every standard Kettle is a bloody good engine crying for help............... :D

Nice work, Rik. What a fantastic rescue you've done. May I ask who did your paint? looks like a sucked sweet!
I think its a similar colour to my A model, though I prefer your colour!
Cheers,
Mike
