New to kettles

Here you can post a picture of you and your bike. Also where you are located and if you are prepared to give local kettle owners some of your time and experience. Please don't do discussions here just some facts about yourself. This was Glens idea! Thanks BAZ

New to kettles

Post by midlifecrisisrd »

Hi all

Just joined so thought I'd introduce myself

I'm Steve from Glasgow and about to embark on a kettle project

For the last 10 years I've been building Yamaha RD350 YPVS bikes both anorak standard and hybrids. Usually average at least one a year.

Fancied something different so just ordered a frame/swing arm and alloy tank from Pointy Hat Wizard to build a TR750. Should be ready in a couple of weeks

Just need to find the right donor bike or an engine and I'll get started

I'll probably be a pain in the ass for a while as never even seen a kettle close up lol

What's the best way to post pics on here.

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum. It'll be interesting to see a TR750 put together, any problems shout out and you'll get plenty of help on here. As for posting pic's the easiest way is to take them on your phone and upload straight from there onto your post through the "attachments" box which you'll find below the "submit" button. If you haven't got a camera on your phone, take your pic's with a camera and transfer them to a laptop and then onto your post.
Cheers, Steve W.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".
