There very sought after in the Transit Van world Paul, MK1 Transit usually from German Fire Stations low mileage very well looked after ,
bring em back over here and change them back to right hand drive, tax exempt etc , cheers mick

The Transit Van was used for Years by Australia Post to clear street mailing boxes.
The switch to Renault & Mercedes Vans has not been well received by Postal Workers who remember the Transit fondly,I don't think the Post Delivery Bikes are in danger of being replaced (Honda CT110) any time soon,as there is nothing else on the market to do the job.
Ex Postie Bikes are very sought after..Honda Aust don't sell the model here to the Public

I use to drive an old Transit van back in the early 80s, it had a sliding drivers door which insisted on opening when batting down the M1, we had a big chunk of wood to wedge it closed, not too sure the plod would have been too happy with the method used
