Got a problem. Started the bike yesterday ( on the electric starter ) started first go.
Went out today to start it and it sounds like the motor is spinning and not engageing !
Battery is fully charged and all else seems ok
Anyone got any ideas ?

Re: Starter motor
if the motor is turning it may be a starter clutch fault?
Re: Starter motor
Thou shalt not leave the tap switched on, on a non vacuum petrol tap !!
Seems the engine flooded, caused a hydrolic lock and the starter clutch just spun and unscrewed the retaining nut on the end of the crank !!
Could have been alot worst like a bent rod !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
