Sorry to say Baz is right, I got stung £25 last year but some times you get away with it. Dont know how that works ????

I think it depends on the value written on the package best to put gift

Some American seller's will reduce the amount on the package if you ask, cheeky or what.

If you ask them to tick the "gift" box on the mailing label it'll be tax free, but some businesses won't do it if they send a lot of stuff out.
