phil I didn't like to say either but the chrome is Poo but price reflect that. other wise I would ask for more.
the racks weren't that good ,it was the case of hit and missed.
the premise's is old and so are the tanks.
the guy and his brothers who owned it took over from their father who is now knocking on to his 80's.
they've just built a new plant in Darlington so this place will shut down around summer time.
but they will not be doing any chroming.
I've made 12 Sissy Bar for the GT750's as well as 20 others.
5 X GT380,5X T250/350,5X GT550 5X T500..
these will be done in show chrome instead of industrial chrome.what the difference is I don't know.
I guess one is shinier than the other.
once these are sold then all rails will be sold in bare metal and if these dont sell then I'll call it a day.
.

Re: Sissy Bar/racks
got all the rails chromed now, will pick them up tomorrow.
took them in last friday and done all ready.
I ask the guy(sean) what would he charge to polish and chrome a GT750 rack and he said £70 to £80.
so I'll have to work out the price for bare metal it has got to be cheaper than Suzuki's
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-SUZUK ... SwJcZWcaOm
depending on the quality of the chrome the 750 Sissy Bar will be around the £100 mark plus shipping.
I ask sean how they turned out and he they are all right.
when I took them in he said that the brackets(not polished) might cause problems.
I said as long as they are chromed it doesn't matter whether they are shiny or not as they will not be seen once fitted on the bike.
all I'm concern as long as the rest of them are nice etc.
anyway I'll tell ya better tomorrow.
