been doing some painting

Post by malky »

well finally got around to respraying the two sets of tanks/side panels that have been on the to do list for what seems like ever and after a few false starts and hitches they are finished I think the Maui blue really suits the kettle - now I can have a change from Candy Gypsy red .

I wish I could paint  :?
On a serious note as it now looks like I'm keeping the kettle :( I've got a headlamp bowl and two fork mounts (ears?) than need painting in candy lavender, does anyone fancy doing them and at what cost?
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

John - used the proper Maui Blue water based from RS paint - have seen so many supposed Maui blue sets that just dont look right - they are close but not the right shade and I would never be happy with that - RS are not cheap but their colours are spot on
