Not tried one of those but due to my failing eyesight I find it difficult to sharpen small drills (2mm or less) by hand so I bought a drill sharpener from Machine Mart. It's ok ish but I find if I'm drilling hard materials like stainless steel the drill soon goes dull whereas if I do them by hand they are much better.

IMHO, you can buy a lot of little drills for £27.
I suppose it depends on how fed up you are of sharpening stuff, and if you can justify a new 'essential' toy to the other half.

Or just mucky it quick and then you've 'had it for ages', of course.
Personally, I chuck old drills away and I have grinders and a linisher anyway?

I bought a set of Cobalt drills for about £60 about six years ago and apart from the 1mm which I snapped off in a stainless steel job I was doing they are all still sharp as you like. Ok the most used sizes have been sharpened a time or two but as I said I can sharpen the larger ones by hand no problems. Best money I've ever spent and at that price I won't bin em
