But it's now 2017 so it should move on a year.
Its actually true at the moment... SO it might/should change to 1977 in April 2017(1st or 6th??).
Unless the Gov has changed its mind.

As this is a rolling period I understand it as vehicles made or registered before 1st Jan 1977 will be classed as historic tax free at renewal when the 2017-18 tax year starts.

Unless the thieving tax man changes it in the next budget.

just a reminder that it is not from the date your bike was registered !! it is the date it was manufactured if you have a vin plate like my gt380 has, it wasn't registered until april 1976 but the manufacturing date on the vin plate says '75 so i sent a photo of it to the dvla and now it is tax free(historic) :D John
