has anyone got any photos of the front brake hose routing and clamping for a GT185a model please - putting it back to stock as someone had fitted a braided line and it looked horrible

Rich I can only just get the t500 to stop ! So I don't think the 185 would have any chance with a combination of a drum and my weight lol

Not a close up pic but may be some help. A 1976 GT185 that I had a few years back.

Re: GT185 Brake hose
Thanks guys but I need some close up pics - I have it in my mind that there is a metal link pipe in there at the bottom of the steering stem as I remember having to make a longer one when i swapped the ace bars for higher ones back in 1976

Here you go, pages from the parts manual. Shows a rigid pipe as well as flexi pipe.

Re: GT185 Brake hose
Come on guys- someone must have some good close up photos of these on the bike - there are quite a few on here with nice GT 185 's I can't see where the mounting brackets are located etc as when the po put a braided hose on he binned all the original bits so I've got nothing to go on at all and am looking to make them if necessary
