Re: CHECK THIS...
Can't help but think that the riders are exaggerating this wobble and weave. Never had this experience on all the old bikes I owned even when I was 11 stone wet.
Looks like us fatties win on this one.
And yes I really did weigh 11 stone at one point In my life.
I'm leaving myself open to Yorkshire criticism here. Let's see what happens.

Re: CHECK THIS...
No criticism Martin. I once weighed 11 stone too, but too long ago to remember!
I wonder if it's partly due to the high & wide handlebars somewhat?
The hippo wobbles, but no weave up to 85 anyway - even with a top box.
The 550s both have flatter bars, the Earwig 'makes' me ride slightly forward leaning and neither wobbles or weaves, and neither did the K - with or without a top box.
And my 550s have Dunlop tyres, the hippo has Avons.
So, it looks like a good idea to have the extra pie, chip, bacon sarnie etc. to be safer on a bike.
I don't think many on here will have to wear a weight belt.
Interesting vid. We can always learn something. I suppose Hippos wobble but they don't fall down.

Re: CHECK THIS...
My J seems fine with high & wide US bars fitted even up to an indicated 100mph, BUT if I take my hands off the bars at 30-40mph it wobbles like a barsteward, if I was brave enough to leave my hands off the bars I'm certain it would develop into a full blown tank slapper.
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

I must remember to take a copy of the link to this video the next time I visit the Doctors so when she gives me yet another bollocking I can explain that I'm a fat f**k for health and safety reasons. Thinking about it I should report the bitch for picking on me and being weightist
