When applying to the dvla to register and old motorcycle on an age related number plate, does the Dvla need to see the picture of the Bike or just club that dates the bike .

Pictures of both sides plus a pic of the frame & engine numbers is mandatory. I paid for a VJMC dating certificate but the DVLA wanted my US title of deed (which they kept :( ) they weren't interested in the dating certificate at all! They also ignored the fact that my bike was manufactured in 1971 and gave me a 72 L reg? I think it depends on which numpty answers the phone.
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!
