On the contrary mate; that's what I had seen on various Google images, but on removing my gear indicator switch, it appears that the gear selector drum shaft sticks out into the final drive sprocket area, so a dished, Suzuki-made blanking plate is necessary. But I originally thought the same as you. Could have been a different year. Mine's a '76.philshort7390 wrote:I had a kettle once that just had a plain alloy plate bolted on, which seemed to work ok.
