We just threw it together there to see which bits were missing Mike - the caliper had seized to the disc and the front wheel rim had rusted through - I was waiting to see if anyone noticed that the wheel was arse about face :D it had its second ever mot last year not bad for a 73 bike

malky - did you have a bike on display at today's Stafford show by any chance?

Had three there on the Stafford Kettles and Kwaks stand T500K GT185A and the GT250K - all running fine now - gave the 250 a good run last week and it starts first kick now ! I think the rings just needed bedding in a bit - even managed to pick up a brand new old stock left hand exhaust for it there

nice :) - I presume the 185 upstairs was yours; was the 250K in front of it yours as well, or the one downstairs on the VJMC stand? Didn't see the 500k, probably because I was looking specifically for bikes like the ones I have myself.
