I picked up the Vapour blasted engine from the Blaster/Powder coaters today, some items were slightly oxidised but for the most part it came out well.

I got the bill for Media blasting, Vapour blasting and powder coating most everything today and it came to £290. The guy does a great job and I'm very happy with his work and price :)

Still waiting on some conrods so I can take the barrel and crank to get done.

I had some conrod kits turn up from the UK today after a 4 week wait on postage, kits not complete upon arrival :( I imagine this will turn into a head ferk :(

I really was hoping to get engine in to get machine work done.

Bought some rims and spokes today, I would have liked to have bought stainless spokes but I imagine the factory zinc guys will still be shiny when I'm deader than disco :(

Ole Tetanus bit back today :( I bought some 2k paint in an aerosol can that I was assured would be compatible with 2k from the gun........Now I get to strip the paint/primer/spay putty and filler from my gauge tins and seat(only one side of the seat, the other is fine) :(
