Factory wiring on the US models :P

I've bought numerous cars from the States and all have had butchered wiring, why is it that our allies from across the pond can't keep it neat and with the right gauge wire :?:

I pulled the engine out of "Tetanus" today 8-) The only part I've pulled that might be reusable without work is the gear lever :roll:

I broke one of my cars yesterday, so it's time to get back into the scooter :(

I am in awe of you facing this challenge with such gusto! I liked your comment about the gear lever being the only bit that won't need work - but even that has got the wrong rubber on it!!

You may well be correct about the rubber, but I will have to investigate further as I'm reading conflicting information on the interwebs :)

Got a bit of rust in 2 pots(probably why it's seized :roll: ), I'll make a barrel puller in the next week or so and pull the barrel and see what we're dealing with 8-)
