Here's my J , its turned out to be a good un, bit scabby in places but presentable in others. Best bit is the engine , its a good runner and the crank seals are fine.
Its from the US and I hope to get riding it after its MOt'd and registered

Thanks guys, yes the seat needs sorting, and a general cosmetic restoration too. The picture makes it look better than it is. Yer dead right can't wait to ride it!
I only changed the gearbox oil, coolant and plugs to get it sorted. Cleaned and derusted the petrol tank with DEOX C, thats great stuff and not nasty like acids. I could just pour it away after as its a citric acid powder mixed with warm tap water, then left for 24 hours. The inside is clean like new after. And I retaped Harness 1 as it's covering was hard, brittle and cracked. I got a pair of clock shells from Ian Sandy and did the clocks too, quite pleased with how they came out.
