Re: Kawasaki Z650c Resto
well a few months on and she's a roller again and engine totally rebuilt and sat back in frame
after frame powdercoat etc , just started cleaning and checking wiring harness today .
Handlebars and switchs back on all checked out ok so just cleaned connectors up as im a
fan of leaving stuff with the used but working look where i can sadly frame and bodywork
needed doing but thats life, i bought it as a runner without viewing and wasn't totally
surprised that i found it didn't and hadn't for some time but no worries a little gamble
never hurt anyone

Re: Kawasaki Z650c Resto
The bike looks great and good luck with it. I'm a big fan of the z650.
bought one almost new ( ex demo) in 1977.. a B1 and I owned that bike for 19 years until some scroat nicked it from my shed on easter sunday night 1996. I would still have it now.
recently got myself another one.a 1981 Z650F2 ( the one with the 750E front end and no kickstart.
this is a great bike and I too have had the frame powder coated and it's been on the road now for two years. I love it as much as my Kettle.
I'll post up some pics of my bike when i can find some.
nice to see another fan of the z650!
