New Project SB200
This how I got it the engine was in boxes, well there were 2 engines 1 sb200 and 1 gt200x5, so I stripped every thing down and on inspection both cranks were Knackered so it was off to Grampian motors with them and they made me one good one out of both of them, with new rods new bearings and new seals done while I waited about 50 mins, total cost £230.then the engine build started, I used the Sb200 cases with the gt200 gear box (5 speed) sb barrels pistons and carbs. the gt motor had electric start and as the cases are the same I put the starter motor in, I made a few alterations all LED lighting, fitted X7 wheels, GN125 forks, disc, calliper and front mudguard, seat from China, shortened rear mudguard. The bike runs really well haven't given it a proper run yet not taxed or tested.
I will put pics of finished bike in next post in a few minutes.

Re: New Project SB200
Hi there Mr itsnotateapot.
I just happen to have one of those out the back rusting away! But I do have a nice set of front forks and wheel tucked up in doors. I converted the front end to a Yamaha RD250 set of forks and disc brake front wheel. If you want any of all make a reasonable offer, also have gen factory workshop manual.

Not seen that for a week or 2 and it looks really well now. We only just had time for a breakfast while Grampian did the crank!
We have a local '200 club' filled mainly with Hondas - lets's see how they get on when travelling with 'proper'' 2 stroke bikes without those nasty valvy things.

Lovely job there Richard, like the Guinness theme.
Only question is, why Guinness, as we all know "you don't drink ".............
