The plate you are looking to replace was fitted to bikes exported to America. They weren't fitted to bikes here that I can recall as the stamped frame number was all that was required. Do you really need to replace it? Kev

Hi all,

I Was just trying to keep it original as possible, I’ve managed to peel it of in one, i’ll Get some double sided tape and stick it back on once it’s been powder coated, if it looks crap it’ll come of and I’ll do with out it.

On another note parts for these have gone silly money to obtain.

Well, that sounds like pillow talk but, of course, Yoorkies don't use pillows: They sleep on lumps of coal nicked from the local slag heap

Hi everyone,
After stripping the bike down I’ve found loads of problems so decided it was a complete rebuild using original parts as much as possible,

Frame is back from being powder coated and the other parts.
When the bike was complete it was a good runner, now that it’s out would you have it stripped down and new bearings/seals replaced with pistons and rings as a matter of peace of mind and where or who would you trust to carry out the works.... ????

Also over the coming months I’m gonna be a pain in asking lots of questions on how bits go together even thou I took plenty of photo’s.
