And we're off ! Started stripping the motor today, ready to ship the crank off to Chris Applebee for rebuild.

Nice paint! I have that stripe pattern, but in the silver, on my GT380B.

And as you know, same colour as your bike on the 550B, but with 550-specific stripes, which are closed at the front.

Thanks Andy. Practised on a few car restos over the last couple of decades. On balance, I wish I'd discovered bike restoration a lot longer ago, It's quicker, cheaper and alot more fun! Kev
