Are the bores standard Kev? I'd be interested if they weren't, as it would mean that someone must have used standard type oversize pistons and modified the skirts to suit the different porting.
They were once over when I got them and I've had them taken out to two over. the transfer ports are as they should be throughout the lining. I think what I will do is accumulate a proper set of Nikasil barrels and swap them over for peace of mind. If anyone has a lefty and/or righty for sale.....?

The bike is complete and starts. I'm still not convinced about the barrels so will be replacing them with a proper Nikasil set up. Tank stripes are p*ssing me off so will be replaced. Gold looks good in the sun though :D

The colour works on these bikes I think :) These are the SCEM barrels with over-bored iron liners :o I've fitted them with standard 2 over pistons but I just don't buy it. The four transfer ports won't work well with standard pistons from what I've learned on here so I will be going to a proper Nikasil set up for peace of mind.Kev
