NEW PROJECT. FZ750

Post by wardy »

I've just taken delivery of my latest machine from a good mate.
It's on the road and runs just great ( no bucking or hunting on this one!)
I know it's not a kettle, but it'll keep me busy over winter.
1st job is to get rid of that aweful Kenny Roberts colour scheme.
BTW; has anyone got any bits for the FZ750 squirrelled away?.. looking for a centre stand and l/h switch gear
cheers Andy

Sweet , it's great to see other bikes on here.
Makes a change from those old antiquated two strokes.

thanks for that link; just what I need.
as for the colour scheme; it's the way that it's been applied with a yardbrush that I don't like.
it will end up bring red/silver or blue/ white eventually!

Does anyone know of a DECENT, EFFECTIVE paint stripper that I can use on my kettle generator cove and the FZ tank?
Used to use nitromors, but that's crap nowadays!
Also, need to strip off the paint on the FZ plastic parts... what's the best thing for doing it on plastic?

Langlow Strip-away Pro.

You will find its the original stuff, 'trade only'.

Plastic, no idea. I wouldn't use this stuff as it will definitely dissolve many plastics!
