Hi Paul,

It’s ok, you can come out from under the bed now and we promise not to beat you up the next time we see you at the Ponderosa.

Lol, problem is Marty it’s too easy to get a rise
As for ugly bikes beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I love the Katana (what’s not to like?) the TLS1000, the Hayabusa is simply stunning and the Z1300 is a thing of beauty. Not everybody agrees but hey it would be a sad world if we all liked the same things. Just to put the cat among the pidgeons I think the LMAB series of Kettles are ugly :o
Higgspeeds are a personal thing, I did a repair on a friends GT550 fitted with them. I found they where well made and very light but I can’t understand why the down pipes are made like they are (fugly) when other pipes are made properly and why they are so bloody loud? it’s not even a nice sound. But hey ho that’s just me! I don’t understand what upsets rickyP so much? maybe he’s related to higgspeeds
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!
A quote from my old dad 8-)

I started out with nothing and I’ve got most of it left!

Had two of them, what a stunning bike traded the last one in for a ZX12.

Keith, I have a set that I was going to re-bracket for my A. They are not so up swept as current ones. Personal taste but I think they look better.
If you are interested, I may sell them on and pay the extra for a new set and save the re-work.
The bike pictured is not mine, but the pipes are.
Martin.

I'm only about an hour away in Wombwell. (Depends which bit of York you're in.)
Alan,

Tell us more. Those look like stock JKL headers with hydroformed chambers. Those are really interesting. What's the story behind those pipes and how well did they work?
Back on topic for a moment, Higgs's pipes do look beautifully made. I agree that the header shape is not pleasing to my old eyes, but I'm not the intended audience. Oh and I also hate the popcorn popping sound at idle, but again that's a personal taste thing.

I'd like to know how well they perform compared to stock or to say Allspeed/Gibson's
