I bought a load of parts ages ago and the guy wanted a complete clearout. He wouldn't split the bits so I ended up with all the lot (it was that or nothing!) They've been hung up in the garage since. I really need to do a clearout now and as there's a set of Gibsons on the 750B, I won't use them.

It hit me in the middle of the night that those pipes are not hyfroformed, but are probably stampings. The fact that a PO kept stock headers is a little off because the balance pipes would tend to interfere with pulses and therefore hinder power and the welding is worse than mine and that's saying something. Different header length on the center pipe can't help peak power either.

I also suspect they would be really noisy with those small volume mufflers. It would be really interesting to run them and see how they compare with Gibson pipes. If I were closer I'd borrow them and try them on the dyno back to back with a few others sets I have here gathering dust - but I'm not.......
