Speedo

Post by gladders »

Hi there any one have an old speedo they would sell? I don't want the case or the face, I just want the drive parts to see if I can convert it to work with a 17 inch front wheel, so a damaged one would be fine, mine is a B model.
Cheers

A B model what, exactly?

Why not use an electronic one and program it to your wheel, then fitting the guts to your original?

You could even look for a speedo off a bike with a 17" wheel and do it that way.

I'm wanting to keep the look of the original clocks, I have a clock from a bike with a 17" wheel so have the correct gauss magnet for the speedo but want to see if I can fit the gear drives for the trip and odometer

I thought the speedos were all the same 2240:60 ratio so it's the drive that is different

Going to have the same as getting 17 inch rims laced up
