Folks,
This is 1 of 2 I’m selling. It’s the original from my precious 380B. It was rechromed a decade ago to a very high standard. I recently stumbled on a perfect NOS part, which has displaced this one.
Full disclosure: the reason I was up for buying a NOS part is because my original part wiggles more than I’d like. The shaft gradually wears on the vertical pivot pin in the boss part, which clamps to the splined gearbox shaft. The boss is perfect & comes with the ‘S’ bolt.
Functionally & appearance-wise, this is 10/10. The spring loaded ball bearing that snicks into place when the Kickstarter is in use is fine. But when folded in, it does wiggle when you rev the motor.
£40 Ono.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike. I am interested in this for my 77 "a" model and assume it is the same? If so would you do £40 inc post?
If so I will pay you via paypal if that's ok.
Let me know, and thanks in advance

Very happy with my purchase but as Mike said there was a small amount of "rattle" in its closed position. So I had a little time earlier to investigate. Upon inspection it appeared to be a little play in the shaft so armed with an old lemonade tin I went about creating a tiny shim.
To my amazement it's actually worked and worked a treat, so no more rattle and it now "snicks" in to place when closed quite nicely.
