For anybody interested, there are two of us meeting up at 10am on the A5 where it crosses the M69 (junction 1). There is a layby on the A5 south, immediately after crossing the M69 junction.
I had two stroke's and survived.

nearly made it,got to mk junc 13 and it started *issing down so turned round and came back got a bit wet but no waterproofs, weather forecasters :x hope the weather was better at the ss, got home and not had a drop of rain and i'm only 20 mins east of MK

Not a bad ride out from my point of view. Met up with scotch and itsnotateapot as planned and rode down under threatening cloud. Not a great turn out of classics in my opinion but met up with slosher and Stan and a good laugh was had by all. Full respect to Scotch for trusting me that it wouldn't rain (I lied) and to Richard (itsnotateapot) for riding down frompt noarth.
Best smelling bike award goes to Scotch :D

yes another great day out 250 mile round trip on the T500 got a bit damp on the last 5miles before I got home. thanks to zapo for the detour round Burton on the way home.
Ps has someone nicked scotch,s van :shock:

Shouda come Sarf to the Ace, no rain until about 1pm and then it was only a few mins worth ;)
