We'd be up for it John. But if the racing time accommodation is not possible, then the rally tour and 'craic' will be just fine away from race days.

Thanks Alan, it would be a lot easier to find accommodation after/before the racing, if the early date suits everyone we can certainly try to find suitable digs.
what the fuck was that ????

Right lads,
just checked out Premier Inn Coleraine, which would put us right in the mix for most of the attractions we would be looking to visit.
A double room for 2, from the 10th of May for 6 nights is coming in at £653, no breakfast, for the flex booking, which allows cancellation up to the day of arrival, not cheap !!! :tw
Have been hunting around sites, but to get even 6/7 rooms is proving very difficult, and that was only for a one stop venue, bloody impossible if we are looking for more!!!
Didn't know it was so popular " up north "

If anybody else has found/ or knows of any alternatives, please pitch in. :D :D

Had a thought, and checked for the 24th May for 6 nights,,, guess what £384 for the flex booking,,, bloody bastar@s an extra £270.. to catch some of the racing.!!! That's a lot of Guiness/Whiskey or Cake .

I'll leave it up to you to decide, if the racing is a must, or not, but be quick, as it is very hard to get rooms.

Not any more, lost quite a bit of weight, but never did have a fat ar$e anyway! 8-) I'm getting a bit concerned about your interest in that region Roger.....

Looks like the racing will make it too expensive for most, so I reckon to move away from race days until all the non KC bikers have buggered off would be my take on it. It'll be dear enough without the racing 'rip off premium addition'.

Right have done a bit more digging as to what is in the nearby area, and all within a 3 minute walk we have an upmarket Indian restaurant HOORAY !! shouts Alan, a couple of pubs, serving good food, plus other eateries.

If we can confirm dates, and your prepared to book, on a non refundable basis, 6 nights will cost about £275, no brekkie.

So have a think on it and let me know what your thoughts are;

Google map the area, they have a 360 view also.

Wuh, sounds good John. I think the flex booking at £384 seems best or £378 if we come on the Sat.
Just need to sort out boat times.
Well done mate with the research. :)

Holyhead to Dublin have 6 crossings a day, with either Irish Ferries or Stennaline.

Dublin to Coleraine is approx 150 miles, and takes about 3 hours to cover, at the worst.

Do you want to spend a night in Belfast ?? to visit the Titanic's birthplace, or it could be done on the way up or back if timed right with your ferry.

If your coming over on an early ferry we will come up the day before and spend a night in Dublin, and meet you off the ferry. So everything is possible, well almost .

Dare I say that there is a very early ferry leaving @ 2.30 am which will put you in Dublin at about 6 am :tw :tw

Wuh, Hi John, there's a few different crossings to choose from when available.
Cairnryan to Larne or Belfast, L/Pool to Belfast/Dublin, Holyhead to Dublin. Some others.
Just need to know what day to come over Fri or Sat ?
Hotel can be booked easily.
