Wuh, you've already started this thread mate !JOHNJENKS66 wrote:Hi all, your probably thinking WTF, 2019 run already being touted but there is a method behind my madness .
As already mentioned to a few of the gang, what about a trip to the Northwest 200 road races in Northern Ireland for 2019.
http://northwest200.org/
Promoted as the Fastest Road Racing on the planet. Not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but it's situated in a very beautiful part of the world, with plenty to see and do, and all pretty close to one another. The Races take place in early May, and are very well attended, so , a base Hotel would be the priority, hence the early "heads up".
There is a Premier Inn, in Coleraine, which is very central to most everything of interest.

These are just some of the attractions close by, and there is still a day at the Races to take in.
Marty, is sure to point us in the direction on many more places to take a gander at.
So, any one interested, let me know, and we can start looking at accommodation.
Still coming !
Scotch.

Ireland is a fab bike trip - both North and South.
The Northwest 200 is an experience to behold - a fantastic event but I worry about the riders.
That said the North Antrim coast is superb. But head to Donegal too and then to the Kerry/Cork/West of Ireland - you wont regret it !!

Re: 2019 Ireland Run
Update on next years NW200.
As its the 90th anniversary event, they are expecting a larger than usual turnout.
We can not make Saturday the 18th of May, as it is our youngest grandaughter's confirmation day.
Have no problem being on call up to the 16th, which means that a full days racing could be included.
So, if suitable to everyone, for travelling over, how do the dates Thursday 9th of may onwards suit.??????
I know that it would be great to catch at least one days racing, and midweek ferries are less crammed, plus there maybe a better chance to get decent accommodation before the racing starts.
Any ideas,thoughts,or, useful input welcomed.
