Had words with the people at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway today regarding parking arrangement for the bikes, that now looks like a 'probable'. We could visit Goathland (Aidensfeld in 'Heartbeat' and the station featured in the Harry Potter films) and Grosmont station for a cuppa & bun on the way, then to Whitby for a paddle in't'sea (for Mandy) and afternoon fish'n'chips - or just chips for the veggies!

Gothland is an interesting place with Scripps garage and the Aidensfield arms. Been before and had a pint and a meal in the pub. I was a bit miffed the scouse bird didn’t serve me though
