Definitely a great night out at South Leverton, I've not been before but I'll certainly be going again. I counted 7 kettles and an RE5, so not quite a record.
There was a really good collection of old/very old British bikes and loads of nice early Jap bikes, combine all that with the modern bikes and the Harleys there really was something for everyone.
Nice to meet up with a few old kettle friends, Wardy from Gunness and Pete from Newark and I may have found a new "Clinic" member in Rick from Scunthorpe.
A brilliant ride too with some really good/varied/dry biking roads between there and Grimsby, Cheers, Steve.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Re: South Leverton Classic Bike Night 23rd May
I went last night, it was a good turn out and the rain held off :-)
I met up with "ode lad" from the Clinick - cracking J model you have there Paul.
I think I counted 7 Kettles - I was on my red Zed, otherwise it would have been 8: but if its not raining I'll be on my Kettle next time.
Cheers Tim

Tim; I wondered whose bike the J was.. it really was mint.
there ought to be a way of us kettlers being able to identify each other if unknown as i for one would have loved to ask some questions.
perhaps we could arrange to wear a pink carnation or something!

Hi guys, l enjoyed the leverton night too on my Pink J. My mate Stuart was on the RE5. Enjoyed Tims company he`s a really nice guy. l also spoke to Rick and bumped into him again on Saturday at Sherburn, a future Clinick member he says. No doubt will be at the next leverton, weather permitting. Paul......................

Re: South Leverton Classic Bike Night 23rd May
Just got back from an enjoyable evening at South Leverton again, where I met Tonto, Itsnotateapot, and Wardy
One of the few times both my GTs have been there together, without one breaking down or something going astray !
Loads of nice bikes on display - including plenty of British bikes
And other Strokers
Including our gangs' GTs ( Richads' son was riding his 500 )
I spotted Wardy's bike parked outside the chippy on the way home, where he was munching his supper :-)

Very nice evening tonight with fellow kettle heads: pleasant ride there, mandatory shandy and the sun even came out for the ride home :-)
Has Wardy had two suppers ?? Pretty sure his Kettle was parked up near the Chip Van at Sth. Leverton ????????
