Jammy buggers I wish I was coming out with you my last IOM visit was the centenary in 2007, I took my then 12yr old grandson for a ten day camping adventure on my faithful Kawa Z1300 (wish I still had that bike) best holiday ever This year is out for me as I had to use my years holiday entitlement while I was having my bionic hip done Don't forget when you get out there to post daily updates with pics. Enjoy yourself boys I hope the weather is kind for you.
Oh and keep an eye out for mad Germans on the wrong side of the road

Saturday 27th August to Monday 5th September.

Alan,you would not believe the lack of options from here.
There is a boat out of Dublin,on the Wednesday,21st,returning on the 31st,of August,and nothing else.!!!!
Or one leaving Belfast on the 28th,returning on the 4th.
Belfast is almost 300 miles from Cork,each way.!!!
The Belfast route looks the most likely.

What is the accommodation situation like ???

Just listen for several triples with spannies - and Baz's standard exhaust in the background. that'll be us.
Definitely at Jurby - it was brilliant last year. We will be staying in Ramsey BTW.

Yep, that's right. Richard (itsnotateapot), and Baz and Carmel are staying at the same place, and if they've got a large garden shed John Jenks might be there too - if it's a big enough shed of course, as he's a big lad!
