@Stupot
Apologies for my delayed response and thanks for your helpful offer, unfortunately I went down with the COVID virus mid October ending up in hospital, (on the road to recovery now and doing well)
That aside thanks for your help appreciated, I now have the seal and points cover, so the build is back on albeit slower...

Re: Attempting a GT750B Restoration
Thought if I could find a reasonably priced pair of S logo mirrors they would go well with my restoration, anyone know a source for the mirrors that won’t require me to sell a kidney....
Or suggest an alternative
TIA

Re: Attempting a GT750B Restoration
So what initially was to be a tidy up and ride project turned into a full blown restoration. Knowing some issues existed, more and more becoming apparent as I progressed the decision was made, with crank seals buggered, rattle can paint, mixed parts and components from other models, wiring bodged etc. etc. I got to it.
To date the frame and components have been powder coated, crank refurbed and rebore, re-zinc fixings, re-chromed parts, new seat, carbs, clocks, and switches refurbed, new wiring harnesses, new parts sourced, side panels painted, and tank sprayed maui blue.
Engine due from vapour blaster, and wheels now after new year....
