So I looked in my aging Haynes manual to see what type of oil the gearbox takes. Its been a while since it was changed and now is the time of year to do these "little" jobs.
The dear old Haynes manual says Castrol GTX. I suppose 45 years ago that was the best thing in town.
I dont remember what I put in the bike last time so I was wondering what to use for this oil change. Something oily no doubt. But any favorites out there.

Re: A GT380B gearbox oil
Thanks for the info. So cheap oil is good. Which is great and a trip to Halfords completed. The old oil was still "looking" ok but its been in a while and must have done 1600 miles at least. Now for a dry day and add a few more miles.
Thanks
