Spray Chrome Fininsh

Post by Yellowbelly »

Well found this company looks like source to get those non metallic parts in a chrome finish.

Not used them myself yet,but will be enquiring about my 550 air box end covers.I believe Mike Yeadon has used a similar finish on his covers successfully.

Col,

Do keep us all posted if its good. I sent mine to an old timer in Canada who had my 380 and 550 covers replated for me as they were back in the day. I couldn't find a plastic plating company in UK, though I'm told the scooter boys have contacts :-)

Cheers,
Mike

They look great Keith. I too would be very interested in the results as I also have some gt380 airbox ends which could do with doing. how much did they charge for it?

It seems like you can buy the meterials from them and do it yourself.
