They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

They are not that rare AD made them for a ton of bikes. Suzuki GT and T range were a few of the ranges they covered. They also offered different face colours as well.
Two strokes, its just that simple.

I've seen those fitted.. They have a small chain from underneath, and a float attached to it.. That operates the needle.. But when riding over bumpy roads the needle moves up and down slightly, until the petrol in the tank stops moving, as sits on the petrol ..also Know for the acrylic face, to yellow over time.. Like the gt250/380/ clocks/gauges, when exposed to too much sun over time..

I had one of those on my Zed back in the day, cost about a shilling...... wish I had brought a few spare ones if (if) they fetch that kind of money now
I had two stroke's and survived.
