T500

Here you can post a picture of you and your bike. Also where you are located and if you are prepared to give local kettle owners some of your time and experience. Please don't do discussions here just some facts about yourself. This was Glens idea! Thanks BAZ

Hi Steve and John. Yes its me Stupot. Hi John Yes ive still got a J infact ive got two me and Babs went to Holland on them both this year we had a great time, probably the best ever two stroke trek ive ever done.
As Steve mentioned I had a Boyer Branson meltdown at Cadwell. With the unit pulled from under the seat and fashioned into a winglett with gaffer tape I could just about get 2000 revs out of it.
Back to Steves for a brew then set off for home on a winglett and a prayer. (and my left leg hangin out)
As speed increased with more cool air flowing around the melted unit I was able to nudge it up to 3000 revs and just managed to get home. But any more revs it would die back to rolling speed.
I can tell you it was very hairy going along the M62 in a lorrys slip stream.
But it just shows how resiliant a Kettle is.
Boyer units are sealed and ive no idea why it melted It was all wired up properly. Ive got all solid state charging system on with new after market coils which have given no trouble at all for over 1000 miles now.
Maybe some clever chaps on here might have an idea.
Im hoping to have Rusto ready for next years blue haze. You got me all wrong John im not trying to upset anyone.
Be nice to catch up next year mate.
